- 2 cups Cabbage (kobis) (thinly sliced)
- 1 medium Carrot (julienned)
- 1 small Red onion (finely sliced)
- 2 tbsp Fresh coriander (daun ketumbar) (chopped)
- 1 Green chili (finely chopped) - pilihan
- 8 leaves Curry leaves (fresh)
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 Dried chili (broken into pieces) - pilihan
- 1 stalk Lemongrass (serai) (finely sliced, tender part only)
- 2 tbsp Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (or sunflower oil)
- 1/2 tsp Salt (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper (freshly ground) - pilihan

Wash and thinly slice the cabbage and carrot. Place in a large mixing bowl.
