- 1 leaf Daun pandan (pandan leaf), knotted
- 5 Cili kering (dried red chilies), soaked, seeded
- 1/2 Bawang besar (red onion), sliced
- 2 cloves Bawang putih (garlic)
- 1/2 inch Halia (ginger)
- 1/2 tsp Serbuk ketumbar (ground coriander)
- 1 tsp Gula melaka (palm sugar), grated (Use less for lower calories) - pilihan

- 1 tsp Minyak masak (cooking oil) (Can use canola or sunflower oil)
